Peach Pie

I’ve had this recipe for a long time. I am not sure where it came from and I hadn’t made it for ages. But recently I tried it again because I canned peaches this past summer and it was so good.
1 – 9 or 10 inch pie crust (see my recipe for easy pie crust)
1 quart size can of peaches (or use fresh peaches)
¾ cup sugar
¼ cup flour
2 T butter
¼ cup peach juice (or water if using fresh peaches)
2 T lemon juice
Mix the sugar, flour and butter together. Spread half the mixture on the bottom of the pie crust. Arrange the peach slices on top of the flour/sugar mixture in a pleasing pattern. Sprinkle the other half of the flour/sugar mixture over the top. Mix the peach juice and lemon juice together and drizzle over the pie.
Bake at 375 for approx. 40 min. Serve with whipped cream.
